Ten years ago, Sabrina Goldman and Deborah Leyva created West Valley Thunder. Both were competitive gymnasts as well as national and collegiate cheerleaders and dancers. West Valley Thunder started with 21 cheerleaders and now sits at over 120 cheerleaders from the west, north and central valley. Our competitive teams are regional, state, and nationally ranked. To add to our successes – we are now Worlds Finalists at the 2006-2007 Championship of World Cheerleading with some of the finest cheerleading organizations around the world. We also have had much success of some individuals chosen for All-American and staff members for various organizations.

West Valley Thunder offers an opportunity for girls and boys of all ages to be a part of a competitive cheer. We also offer various classes ranging from tiny tots to adult stretch and tone. Coaches offer top quality training with over 20 years of cheerleading, dance and gymnastics experience.

As a member of the WVT All-Stars, you become part of a program that encourages training for excellence in a family atmosphere where all members and coaches are expected to have and maintain positive attitudes, a high degree of motivation, determination, drive, pride, a belief in oneself and others, a commitment to setting and achieving high goals, and a willingness to learn and grow as a cheerleader and an individual.

Being a member of the WVT All-Stars is an absolute rewarding experience where members will learn to feel an immense sense of loyalty and pride, giving 110% of themselves at all times, learning to work with many different types of people and personalities, gaining lifelong friendships, finding out the scope of their abilities and pushing them beyond their limits - emotional, mental, and physical - they may have never thought possible, learning to accept victories with honor and defeat with grace, and so much more!!
